FAQs

When/Where does Harvest meet?

Harvest meets at 7 pm at McLean Presbyterian Church, 1020 Balls Hill Rd, McLean, VA, 22101. (map).

Who is welcome at Harvest?

Everyone is welcome at Harvest; but it is geared toward young adults – folks in their 20s and early 30s.

Does Harvest do stuff besides Sunday night services?

You bet. Our mission to gather and equip our generation to follow Jesus extends well beyond Sunday night services. Browse this site to find out all you need to know about our volunteer opportunities, socials, retreats, etc.

One of the most important ways to be involved is in a community group.  Visit our community group page for more information about our gathering and equipping groups.

What’s with all this “community” talk?

Community and authentic relationships are not maudlin concepts invented to make people commit to the church! Instead, they are foundational to the very essence of:

_______Who God is: existing in community as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
_______Who we are: made in His image, we are created for community

Community and authentic relationships are therefore intrinsic to reality. When we live outside of them, our very humanity is compromised. We long to see people brought into relationship with Jesus then empowered to live a meaningful life that is as purposeful as it is joyful. Visit our community groups page for more information on how you can be involved in the Harvest community.

Is Harvest a singles ministry?

No. We certainly have a lot of singles at Harvest, but we’ve also got plenty of dating and married couples. Harvest is not geared toward “singles” or “marrieds;” it is geared toward all young adults.

Does Harvest offer childcare?

Yes. And it would be our privilege to spend some time with your child! Both nursery and childcare through second grade is offered during Sunday night services. It’s free, of course, and the volunteers are screened through all appropriate legal processes. For more info on childcare, contact Harvest’s Nursery Director.

Children are also welcome at other Harvest events.

What do people wear to Harvest?

Harvest’s Sunday night services are casual. Wear what’s comfortable — within reason!
